The day has gone when you can drive very far on a tenner’s worth of fuel. With the average cost of fuel going well beyond £1.00 a litre, drivers are constantly reviewing their driving lifestyle and are prepared to make considerable compromises to reduce their annual motoring bills.

In its first full year on sale, the Peugeot 207 has become the No 1 best selling car in Europe. Between January 2007 and December 2007 the Peugeot 207 sold 437,505 vehicles, out selling the second placed car, the Volkswagen Golf.

The new Peugeot 407 Coupe Bellagio is a new derivative in the range that beautifully combines performance, impressive green credentials and a high standard of specification and equipment.

Peugeot’s new Partner Tepee will replace the current Partner Combi and will become the latest addition to the Peugeot Tepee range. Two Tepee versions will be available, the standard version and an Outdoor version aimed at customers who enjoy exploring locations off the beaten track.

Peugeot is extending the appeal of the 807 with a more powerful new diesel engine variant – the HDi 170. The HDi 170 supplements the capable HDi 120 and HDi 136 diesel engines, and will be available exclusively in ‘Executive’ trim.

With stories on CO2 emissions filling the media, customers purchasing one of Peugeot’s new 308 HDi 90 models can feel happy they are driving a family car that emits only 120 g/km of CO2.

The third member of the Peugeot 207 SW range will be launched in the UK in December 2007. It will increase the SW range to three models: the S, Sport and Outdoor.

Contrary to popular belief, the sun does not need to be beating down to operate your car’s air-conditioning. Many owners switch off and then experience reduced efficiency, when the sun comes out again in the summer.
