After Robert Lawson (Bardon/JHR) extended his lead in the 2008 SEAT Cupra Championship with two wins at Donington Park, his main rivals will be keen to stick to his coat tails by finishing above him at Thruxton on Sunday 18th May.


Last year Jason Plato arrived at the Thruxton racing circuit in Hampshire for the final three rounds of the MSA British Touring Car Championship defending a nine point lead in the Drivers' standings.

On a day marked by torrential rain, Darren Turner celebrated his 34th birthday by finishing 2nd and 3rd in the first two HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship races at Rockingham, and despite ending the third rain-soaked race in a gravel trap, it was a truly great performance by the Leon TDI driver.


Seat Ibiza Sportrider SEAT’s stunning all-new Ibiza five-door may be just around the corner, with sales beginning here in the summer, but that doesn’t mean the existing car’s going to slink off into the sunset – far from it, in fact.
