Following reports in the media regarding SEAT Sport UK's exclusion from Round 10 of the 2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship at Thruxton (Sunday 18th May), the team would like to make clear that it understands and fully accepts the decision of the race officials.

SEAT Sport UK has four times scored a one-two race finish at Croft, both Jason Plato and Darren Turner have won there in recent years and Jason has never failed to score a podium finish there since the team's HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship programme began in 2004.

Robert Lawson (Bardon/JHR) will head to his home circuit of Croft in North Yorkshire for Rounds 9 and 10 of the 2008 SEAT Cupra Championship with his lead in the driver standings still intact.
