Skoda have always been great value for money, right? Well, yes, but more so today than ever before. And we’re not just saying that… we can prove it too.

This is the first official picture of the new Skoda Superb. The successor to Skoda's flagship model will be presented at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show. The second-generation Superb will offer a generously-sized interior and a number of smart solutions.

Skoda has created a new industry award to recognise excellence in writing on the subject of concept vehicles and car design.

Pricing and equipment levels for the new Skoda Fabia Estate have been announced and it delivers higher equipment levels and even better value for money than the outgoing model.

On the 28th of November Skoda started assembling vehicles in Kaluga, Russia. With a total capacity of 150,000 vehicles annually, the new facility will account for forty percent of the firm’s total worldwide production.

Another ceremony, another award for Skoda’s famous cake car advert. This time it was the turn of leading magazine, Autocar, to shower the delicious campaign with praise and a prize.

The extreme conditions of the American desert were the setting for a test of two prototypes for the new generation of Skoda Superb model.

Skoda has produced nearly 450,000 cars so far this year – up 9.3% on the same period last year.

Skoda is used to its cars winning awards, but now even the firm’s TV adverts are picking up gongs.
