The 2007 VXR Racing Driver of the Year winner, John Allison The 2007 VXR Racing Driver of the Year winner, John Allison, secured a podium finish in his second-only race meeting since winning a competition to become a professional racing driver.


Fabrizio Giovanardi VX Racing returns to Thruxton which has brought the team great glory in recent years for rounds ten, 11 and 12 of the 2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) on Sunday 18 May, where the team clinched the BTCC Drivers’ and Manufacturers’ Championship last year in a thrilling season finale.
