More John Lewis Partners benefit from HSA Health Cash Plan

27th August 2008 Print
As an employee-owned business, all 69,000 staff - known as Partners - take responsibility for its success and share the profits. Together with Healthplan provider HSA, a further 1350 Partners have been introduced to the benefits of a bespoke Health Cash Plan thanks to an effective communications campaign.

Leisure Benefits Manager Dan Barnard comments, "We have shared an excellent partnership for many years and with 2000 Partners already existing plan members, we wanted more of the Partnership to understand the benefits of The Partners Health Plan. For this to happen it was vital that the plan was communicated effectively to all and an extensive awareness campaign was conducted to great effect.

"During the campaign HSA visited all 240 John Lewis and Waitrose branches to conduct face to face briefings with the Partners. All Partners were emailed and further information about the Health Cash Plan was communicated on the internal intranet. In addition a bespoke advert was produced and featured on the staff Plasma Screen television at the Oxford Street flagship store.

"As a supportive employer we think a healthy and happy workforce is of paramount importance. It is fantastic that now more Partners have signed up to the Plan as we recognise its value and excellent benefits."

The Partners Health Cash Plan is available to all Partners within the Partnership, with payment options varying from just £1 to £6 per week. In addition all under 18's are covered on the plan free of charge while partners can be added as well for the same additional price. Benefits include money back (up to an annual limit) on dental, optical and physiotherapy bills.
