It is surely worth it to visit the beaches of Port d'Alcudia (20km.) and Port de Pollença (15km.). The old Alcudia (25km) is completely walled off and have various lovely little shops and restaurants. During your stay it nice to hire a car to discover the island. The beautiful Tramuntana mountain chains and old cloister and a variety of beautiful walking and hiking routes. The main town Palma is located within approx. 32km from Selva and is worth a visit, due to the splendid cathedral and the lovely shopping streets and squares. The inland of Majorca is very flat and offers a completely different landscape; it is wonderful to discover the difference within a couple of days
