Raising the standards when searching for Spanish property

29th August 2007 Print
The majority of overseas property buyers start their research online, considering different locations, property types and budgets before committing to a viewing trip or paying a deposit. In the case of the most popular market, Spain, there are literally thousands of websites to choose from so how do you know where to start?

kyero.com is the largest English language Spanish property portal listing over 90,000 properties from 700 agents across Spain. Its aim is to connect buyers and sellers of Spanish property and uploads on average 400 new properties each day. As Kyero.com is not a selling agent the portal is truly independent giving potential buyers access to unbiased and accurate information on the Spanish property market through the quarterly Spanish House Price Index available to download free of charge.

Kyero.com is committed to providing the perfect place for buyers to start their search and takes pride in its achievements being recognized by both portal users and the industry. Kyero.com therefore is delighted to have been officially informed that the company is a finalist in the CNBC International Property Awards 2007.

The awards, now in their 13th year, are the largest of their type in the world. Chaired by Eric Pickles, British Shadow Secretary of State, entries were judged by a panel of industry professionals with the winners being announced at a gala dinner in London on September 14th.

Martin Dell, Managing Director of Kyero.com commented "We're delighted to have reached the finalist stage of the 2007 awards. The list of 2006 winners is, quite literally a 'who's who' of the international property industry - we're honoured to be in their company this year. Even if Kyero.com is not ultimately successful this time around, it has been a great exercise in communicating the unique aspects of our company and the web site."

In addition to being an award finalist, Kyero.com was the first dedicated Spanish property portal to join the Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP), a trade association which has been set up to guide and regulate the international property industry, with the intention of setting standards and protecting consumers.
