Evening primrose oil hope for eczema sufferers?

The winter months can be a particularly miserable time for the estimated 15% of children and 5% of adults who suffer with atopic eczema in the UK. In the evening primrose group, the intensity and itch was significantly improved by the end of the first month and by the end of month five, 96% of patients had improved compared to only 32% of those in the placebo group.

Results of this study add to an already existing and strong body of evidence supporting the benefits of evening primrose oil for aiding atopic eczema.
