Sadie Frost Launches Charlie And Lola Comic Relief Book

2nd February 2007 Print
Charlie and Lola Sadie Frost will launch But I Do Know All About Chocolate (published by Puffin Books February 2007), a very special Red Nose Day Charlie and Lola book about Fairtrade chocolate in aid of Comic Relief with a reading at Foyles Bookshop. £2.00 from the sale of each book will go to Comic Relief.

But I Do Know All About Chocolate is the next book in the very popular Charlie and Lola series, and has been created by Comic Relief, Tiger Aspect Productions and Puffin especially for Red Nose Day 2007. In the book Lola discovers where her favourite treat really comes from – and it’s not the sweet shop!

The incredibly successful Charlie and Lola collection, originated by Lauren Child, is narrated by seven year old Charlie and follows the antics of him and his feisty four year old sister. Targeted at young children, the stories are full of gorgeous bright colours and unique eye-catching illustration. A television animation is broadcast on BBC2 and Cbeebies.

Red Nose Day ’07 - ‘The Big One’ takes place on Friday March 16th and it’s going to be massive! To find out more about how to get involved go to rednoseday.com and don’t forget to get your very own, very large, red nose. The nose comes with stickers to help the wearer stand out in a crowd and it also contains a Chocpix square made from Fairtrade chocolate.
