Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank and Malmaison team up to host speed networking event for high flying Merseyside business women.
Women in Merseyside are invited to benefit from the second in a series of speed networking events at the Malmaison Hotel, Princes Dock on Wednesday
27 June. Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank have teamed up with the Malmaison, in Liverpool, to host High Flyers a speed networking event offering local business women the chance to meet and develop new contacts.
The event is specifically designed to provide business women, from a wide range of businesses, the opportunity to meet other local ‘high flyers’ and develop their business contacts, without the small talk.
Debbie Thompson, Head of Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank’s Merseyside Business Centre said:“The first High Flyers event was a great success, demonstrating the need for networking events of this kind. We are looking to build on that and encourage more women to take part. One of the main benefits of this style of networking is that you get the chance to meet and chat to everyone at the event, offering a great opportunity to develop key contacts and your business.”
Marina Dalglish, Founder of the Marina Dalglish Cancer Appeal said:“High Flyers is a great way to learn about businesses in the region. In addition, It gave me the opportunity to raise awareness about the Marina Dalglish Cancer Appeal. I would recommend High Flyers to any local business women looking to expand and develop their business connections in a relaxed, sociable environment. ”
Anna Hedges, Director of Sales at Malmaison said:“We are delighted to be teaming up with Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank to co-host the second of these landmark events in Merseyside’s Business Calendar. It can be difficult to make time for networking, with all the demands on your time that running a business brings. Speed networking offers a great way to maximise your networking opportunities in one evening, helping business women to meet and build their contacts in the local business community.”
The High Flyers event was created due to the success of Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank’s ‘All about the Woman’ event, which was held last year in conjunction with the European Capital of Culture 08. The series of events are specifically designed to support business women in Merseyside. The bank has teamed up with Liverpool’s new luxury hotel, Malmaison to host the speed networking events, providing a great, relaxed atmosphere to meet some of the regions top female business leaders.
The next High Flyers event will be held at Malmaison on Wednesday 27 June 2007. To register and to receive more information about the event and how to make to most of the evening e-mail tracy.hunt@alliance-leicester.co.uk.
