Subaru wins two million pound fleet deal All-wheel drive specialist, Subaru (UK) Limited, has won a £2 million fleet deal – its biggest ever.

The order is for 50 Subaru Legacy 2.0R Sports Tourers and 50 Subaru Outback 2.5 SE models worth £2,146,000 at showroom prices.

Bath-based customer, Helphire Group plc, bought the Subarus outright and will run them for 12 months. The cars will be hired throughout Helphire’s 28 UK locations, from Aberdeen to Truro.

Helphire’s UK Fleet Manager, Steve O’Brien, said: “These cars are ideal as they are so versatile. All will be fitted with towbars which means they can be hired by users who need a towcar.

“Many of our customers want four-wheel drive but don’t need something as bulky as an off-roader. The final clincher for us is that Subarus are extremely durable with a quality image.”

Subaru (UK) Limited’s National Fleet And Used Car Manager, Harvey France, said: “We have always enjoyed a loyal following among private owners and now Helphire has endorsed their choice.”
