20th June 2007 Print
Gypsy Pistoleros Due to popular demand, Gypsy Pistoleros (the fastest rising rock group in the UK) will now open Rocklahoma, the biggest ever Glam Festival in the World, on Thursday 12 July.

Because of the overwhelming response from the music community, a fourth day has been added to Rocklahoma.

"The evening of Thursday, July 12th was simply added because the fans and the bands demanded it" said Dave Giencke, director of operations of the Pryor Creek Music Festival. Tiger Tailz, one of Great Britain's greatest glam rock bands along with Great Britain's Gypsy Pistoleros were added.

"It's exciting to see bands from all over the globe excited to be playing at Rocklahoma" said Giencke.

Also playing on Thursday is KISS Army, the only KISS tribute band personally endorsed by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley and Hollywood Roses, a Los Angeles, CA based band that pays tribute to one of the eighties top bands, Guns and Roses. In addition there will be a special jam performance by some of the '80's greatest musicians.

Rocklahoma is the largest '80's rock festival of its kind ever to be organized and Festival goers who purchased three-day tickets will also be able to attend Thursday evening's performance. While the VIP amenities are good for only Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Thursday's party is one that no one will want to miss.

"We're totally enthusiastic about offering an opportunity - an appetizer, if you will - to Rocklahoma fans on Thursday night,” said Mark Nuessle, General Manager of Catch the Fever Music Festivals. "Thursday evening will set the stage for a weekend filled with phenomenal 80's bands and the greatest reunion of this era's bands ever organized."

Twenty-nine bands are scheduled to play during the now-four-day festival.
