1st July 2008 Print
Dive Worldwide still has availability on a week-long singles-only diving holiday in Grenada, departing London 7th September 2008. So go on, take the plunge! The Spice Island of Grenada lies at the southernmost tip of the Windward Islands, just 100 miles from Venezuela. With over 40 picturesque white sand beaches fringing turquoise waters, cultural and historical sites and a pleasant year-round average climate of 23C, it’s the perfect destination for a relaxing, tropical holiday.

For divers, Grenada is known for spectacular walls and wrecks, with sharks, turtles, lobsters and giant Moray Eels gliding against the backdrop of soft coral forests, striking reefs and sponges. There are a wide variety of dive sites including the Bianca C, known as the ‘Titanic of the Caribbean’, representing an ideal challenge for technical wreck dives. Other famous wrecks include Shakem, Buccaneer and San Juan.

True Blue Bay Resort is famed for the warmth of the owners and their welcoming staff who ensure guests get the most out of their stay and quickly become friends and part of True Blue’s extended family. The hotel’s superb waterfront restaurant specialises in Caribbean and Mexican food. Here, guests can relax with a refreshing Margarita or try the famous grilled lobster or speciality nachos.

Aquanauts Dive Centre is a 5-star Gold Palm resort and one of Grenada’s leading dive operations. With an excellent fleet of purpose-built boats and full range of PADI courses, divers of all abilities are well catered for.

The holiday costs from £999 p/p including flights, transfers, 7-nights bed and breakfast accommodation at the True Blue Bay Resort, 10 dives with Aquanauts, welcome cocktail party and bbq night.
