Happy family made an Easymove to Saxon Park

24th August 2007 Print
Lounge at Saxon Park A family of six is enjoying living in their spacious new home at George Wimpey North West’s Great Sankey development, Saxon Park. Kate and Neil Perry bought the four bedroom detached Buckingham because it offered so much space for them, their teenage children, Carla, 13, Aaron, 16, and Shannon, 17, and their dog Purdy.

They had previously lived in a semi-detached house in Penketh but it was getting too small for the growing family.

They were amazed at the amount of living space the Buckingham gave them, with a kitchen and combined breakfast area and separate dining room and living room. They also loved the four good-sized bedrooms, but one of the main reasons they decided to buy the house was the number of bathrooms.

Kate said: “With three teenagers, three bathrooms is a real must! Neil and I have an ensuite to our bedroom, the girls share an ensuite, which is accessed from both of their rooms, and Aaron’s bedroom is next to the main bathroom. It makes life so much easier because it means we can all get ready at the same time, without getting in each other’s way.”

With a family to think about, Kate and Neil wanted the move from their old home to their new home to be as easy as possible and so they decided to take advantage of George Wimpey North West’s Easymover package.

The Easymover scheme is designed to help purchasers secure their new home and sell their current property in one easy package.

All Kate and Neil had to do was choose a new George Wimpey home and then, with a £250 reservation fee, secure the plot they wanted.

George Wimpey North West then agreed a marketing price for their old property based on two independent valuations by local estate agents. George Wimpey North West and the chosen estate agent then undertook an extensive marketing campaign to sell their old property. The housebuilder even paid the advertising and estate agents fees, helping to reduce the costs of moving.

Kate said: “George Wimpey North West sorted everything out for us so we didn’t need to worry about anything. It was a very stress free move, thanks to the Easymover scheme and Yvonne, the sales executive, who helped us with the whole moving process.

“The site staff are also brilliant here, if you have anything you want to talk to them about, they can’t be more helpful.

“I would highly recommend Saxon Park. It is a lovely, peaceful development, the houses are built to a very high standard and the schools in the area are really good. We’re delighted we bought here.”
