First time buyer advises – Have a look what’s out there

First time buyer Lyndsey Coupland has one piece of important advice for would-be homeowners – take a look at the homes and deals out there or you will never know what you can afford. Lyndsey, 27, has just bought her first home, all thanks to an advert in her local paper for G2 Redcar, which made her head down to the development and see it for herself.
G2 Redcar is a development purposely built for first time buyers, with prices starting at £75,995 for a two bedroom home and a deposit of only £99 needed to secure a property.
Lyndsey says: “I’d always wanted to own my own house but I never thought it was possible. I just didn’t think there was anything in my price range. The advert for G2 in the newspaper really caught my eye because I thought it was something that I could actually afford. I went down and had a look at the development and had a chat with the sales executive and I was really surprised to learn that I could afford to buy – so I did.”
“I was living with my parents before I moved in here and the biggest problem with that was that I couldn’t have my friends over when I wanted to. Now I’ve got my own place I’ve had lots of people around and it’s great!”
