Regeneration is speedy business in Ashford

Regeneration is speedy business in Ashford A new-look shopping centre and multi-million pound leisure complex has already helped cement Ashford's place as one of Europe's fastest growing towns, but also gaining pace is the town's rail service.

Slashing the journey time from Ashford to London from an hour to just 37 minutes, the new bullet trains will revolutionise train times when they are introduced in December next year.

And perfectly placed to benefit from the town's exciting regeneration is Redrow Homes' popular The Paddocks @ De Montford Park development.

Located off Tithe Barn Lane, in Singleton Hill, The Paddocks is just a few minutes from the centre of Ashford and boasts an impressive array of two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Current availability here includes the three-bedroom terrace Irthing style home from £183,000, the three-bedroom terrace Galway from £187,000 and the Malham semi-detached home from £205,000. All of these properties include a garage, en-suite to master bedroom and a downstairs cloakroom.

And with a range of help, advice and incentives available at The Paddocks under the badge of ‘re:assure', Redrow believes that those moving now can find some excellent value in the market.

Caron Hutchins, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Eastern) says: "Ashford's regeneration means there's great potential for people to capitalise on the town's future prosperity by investing in property.

"Many of our house prices have been reduced and it's a time of opportunity for homebuyers to take advantage of some attractive deals that are currently available and secure themselves a brand new home that could also save them money on their heating and fuel bills. At a time of rising energy prices new homes have been shown to save people up to £556 per annum on their fuel costs*, and that was before the latest large increase in gas and electricity costs.

"Our ability to help with a deposit, stamp duty and other moving costs, or to maybe take a customer's existing property in part-exchange gives new homes the edge over the second hand market in the current market. We are offering confident solutions to any barriers to purchase."

In addition to the Paddocks being just a short journey from the new Stour Centre leisure complex and the County Square shopping centre, there's easy access to the M20, connecting to the M26 and M25, and the continent is also easily reached via the Eurostar from Ashford International.
