New apartments offer an early slice of Battersea regeneration

New apartments offer an early slice of Battersea regeneration With the recent unveiling of the £4 billion plans to regenerate Battersea power station, it’s an exciting time for Battersea which is set to become a popular address in its own right. For those keen to be part of its future, The Quadrangle, a contemporary development of one, two and three bedroom apartments and penthouses in the immediate vicinity of Battersea Park, has just launched.

The Quadrangle, a development by Battersea Park Investments Ltd is a part new build, part refurbished scheme situated on Battersea Park Road. Built around a secure private landscaped courtyard and with the benefit of one of London’s favourite riverside parks nearby, The Quadrangle offers tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet is close to Battersea Park and Queens Town Road stations for easy access to central London.

Externally, The Quadrangle is elegantly designed incorporating a mix of brickwork, cream rendering and wooden cladding. The development benefits from secure underground car parking with direct access to the apartments, ideal for the security conscious.

Inside, apartments offer a variety of sizes and layouts to suit a range of purchasers. Most apartments incorporate floor to ceiling glazing to give a light and airy feel, and most have a balcony so that the view over the communal gardens can be enjoyed. Sumptuous penthouse apartments in the new building feature vast terraces and private roof gardens which give an overwhelming sense of space.

Apartments in the converted building have high ceilings and large warehouse style windows creating a trendy loft-apartment feel. The converted building also benefits from a large communal roof terrace, ideal for relaxing in the summer months.

Meticulous attention to detail has been paid throughout the design of the apartments; each incorporates designer specification such as Pedini Italian kitchens with integrated appliances. Bathrooms and ensuites include limestone floors and high quality sanitary ware.

Andrew Boyden of selling agent, Douglas & Gordon, says: “Now is an exciting time for Battersea, which is still comparatively low in price compared to its neighbours – Chelsea across the river and Clapham to the south. The Quadrangle would suit a range of purchasers including first time buyers, single professionals, couples, investors or those looking for a pied-à-terre. The security aspect in particular is attractive to single buyers and we have had a huge amount of interest. Despite the current market conditions, we expect the development to sell quickly.”

Prices start from £362,500 for a one bedroom apartment, from £499,950 for a two bedroom apartment and from £650,000 for a three bedroom apartment. For further information or to view the show apartment, visit Quadranglebattersea.co.uk.
