One.com boosts web space allocation by up to 200 per cent

19th March 2012 Print

Web hosting services provider, One.com is upping the web space available to its users by up to 200 per cent from today.

The new web space allocations for One.com’s 3GB, 10GB and 40Gb hosting packages will increase to 5GB, 30GB and 60GB respectively. These new allocations will be automatically available to new and existing customers at the same great price as before, from as little as £9 GBP excluding VAT for the first year.

The move is in response to rising demand for space not just for web site hosting and emailing but also from consumers wishing to store and share increasing numbers of files such as photos, blogs, documents and music tracks. And, the increasing use of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet computers is also contributing to this trend.

“The rise of cloud computing and technology advancements in web services are encouraging many to get online and start sharing files with family, friends and colleagues,” said Thomas Medard Frederiksen, COO at One.com. “Our move to increase web space allocations is in direct response to this as we strive to develop our innovative offering to continue to meet customer needs.”
