Introduce-a-friend for a £25 mutual benefit

Norwich & Peterborough Building Society (N&P) current account holders will receive a £25 reward for recommending friends who switch to the building society - with the new customer also receiving a £25 bonus.

The introduce-a-friend scheme is open to any existing N&P current account customer who nominates someone who goes on to open a Gold Classic or Gold Light current account with N&P before 31 December, 2012.

The Society's award-winning Gold Classic current account offers free debit card use abroad, card and lock and key protection worth up to £600, discounted share dealing costs and access to exclusive savings products with preferential rates, as long as at least £500 is paid in to the account every month.

Anyone who switches to the Gold Classic account also benefits from a six-month fee-free £250 overdraft limit.

Gold Light current account is available for customers who are aren't able to pay in £500 every month but still want free debit card use abroad, on condition of at least five transactions being made each month.

N&P, part of the Yorkshire Building Society Group, provides a personalised current account switching service where customers know which member of staff is overseeing their transfer and are kept informed throughout the switch.
