£1,000 prize incentive for new N&P current account customers

Switching to Norwich & Peterborough Building Society's award-winning current account has become even more attractive with the launch of a £1,000 competition.

Anyone who opens a Gold Classic or Gold Light current account before the end of December and uses N&P's personal switching service to set up at least five regular payments will be entered into the prize draw.

N&P is also currently offering every existing member a £25 reward for introducing a friend to the Society, with the new customer receiving £25 too.

Gold Classic current account customers receive a range of benefits at no cost, including free debit card use abroad, card and lock and key protection worth up to £600, discounted share dealing costs and access to exclusive savings products with preferential rates, as long as at least £500 is paid in to the account every month. New customers also benefit from a six-month fee-free £250 overdraft limit.

N&P's Gold Light current account is available for customers who are not able to pay in £500 every month but still want free debit card use abroad, on condition of at least five transactions being made each month.

Ewan Edwards, N&P's head of current accounts, said: "The benefits of Gold Classic and Gold Light are already very clear but this £1,000 competition makes switching to N&P even more appealing.
