The Portlands prepares to launch with £1,000 welcome

Miller Homes East Midlands is preparing to take the first reservations at its brand new development in Chesterfield.

The sales centre at The Portlands, situated just off Sheffield Road, officially opens its doors on Saturday 8 June.

As a welcome gift, anyone reserving during the opening weekend will receive £1,000 to spend at the Miller Homes Options & Choices Centre. This allows buyers to select from a number of upgraded fixtures and fittings, including premium carpets, window dressings and those little touches such as taps and door handles in a range of finishes and styles.

As Julia Portington, sales manager for Miller Homes in the East Midlands, explains, the team is anticipating a busy opening weekend: “Initial interest in The Portlands has been incredibly high. This reflects the increasing buoyancy in the property market and the fact that we’re making a welcome return to North Derbyshire after building elsewhere in the region.

“The Portlands is set to offer a large choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes, spread over 8.5 acres.

Amongst the first properties to be released for sale at The Portlands. will be the three-bedroom Hawthorne style home and the three-bedroom, three-storey Harrow. Also available will be the four-bedroom Coniston, which features a spacious family breakfast kitchen, large gallery landing, a feature bay window in the lounge and an en-suite to the master bedroom.

A range of purchase incentives are also available to offer flexibility and provide buyers with even greater value for money. These include the new Help To Buy scheme, offering just a 5% deposit and an equity loan of up to 20% from the Government.
