To celebrate the launch of two new showhomes at Taylor Wimpey’s Carnegie Grange in Dunfermline, visitors to this impressive development of new homes on Pittsburgh Road are invited to a Family Fun Day from 12 noon until 4pm on Sunday 25 August, 2013.

As well as two stunning showhomes to enjoy, there are free children’s activities including face-painting and balloon-modelling. Children are also encouraged to come along and meet some of the team from the local Dobbie’s Little Seedlings Club to plant their very own seedling to take home and watch grow!

And to celebrate further, the first 25 visitors to the development on Sunday 25 August will receive a £25 voucher for Dobbies, plus all visitors to the event can enter a free prize draw to win £500 worth of Dobbies vouchers.

With views across the Firth of Forth, Carnegie Grange boasts Taylor Wimpey’s latest Scotland range of new homes and is perfectly situated in the Duloch area of Dunfermline offering easy access to the M90, Edinburgh and the rest of Fife. This development of 97 three, four and five bedroom homes is already a popular choice with a wide range of buyers and prices currently range from £201,000 for the four bedroom detached Douglas 2 upto £268,000 for the four bedroom detached Stewart 2.

Carnegie Grange offers the best of all worlds as Audrey Cook, sales manager for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland explains: “This development’s location is just a short drive to Fife’s picturesque coastline, and it’s within easy reach of the Dunfermline town-centre, as well as the motorway network to take you north towards Perth and south to Edinburgh. Plus the latest in leisure and recreation is available nearby at Fife Leisure Park, and there are great sporting facilities at Carnegie Sports Centre right on the doorstep.

“Our showhomes are beautiful and offer visitors a chance to see for themselves how stylish their move could be to this handy development in Dunfermline. Our Family Fun event will run from 12-4pm on Sunday 25 August and everyone’s welcome.”

Being part of Taylor Wimpey’s Family Fun Day is a great opportunity to offer new home buyers expert gardening advice as Katie Walker, community champion for Dobbies Garden World in Dunfermline adds: “The garden of a new-build home generally offers the owner that unique opportunity to start with a blank canvas.

“As well as offering some expert help to some of our younger gardeners with our ‘Little Seedlings’ planting session, our team will be on-hand to offer homebuyers some gardening advice and tips to achieve the look they want for their outdoor space.”

Customers can also take advantage of Taylor Wimpey’s part-exchange, Easymover, Easystart shared equity scheme or the Scottish Government supported MI New Home scheme – each one designed to appeal to customers who’d like to be on the move but who need a helping hand!

Normal opening hours at Carnegie Grange are Thursday to Monday from 10am-5.30pm. The Family Fun event will run from 12-4pm on Sunday 25 August, 2013. For more information, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk/carnegiegrange.
