Barratt unveils new show home at Western Gate Visitors have been singing the praises of the new show home at Western Gate, Barratt's popular development in the beautiful rural village of Lytchett Matravers near Poole. "The new show home is in the Stanbridge house style and the décor features beige carpets with cream, red and turquoise accessories," reports Mark Docherty, Barratt sales director.

"It's very bright and contemporary, and people have been impressed by the integrated conservatory feature, which brings a lot of light into the living area.

"A visit to this new show home will give buyers a chance to appreciate the high standards that prevail at this development," he added.

The three-storey Stanbridge is a terraced townhouse with garage and garden, and it offers the perfect family home.

Internal features include a downstairs cloakroom, fitted kitchen, lounge/dining area and study. There are three double bedrooms, including an en-suite master bedroom on the second floor which comes with a dressing area.

When complete, Western Gate will offer 44 new homes, a mixture of one and two-bedroom coach house apartments and three and four-bedroom houses.

Current availability includes the Stanbridge, priced from £239,995, and the three-bedroom Tarrant townhouse, priced from £235,995. Part exchange is available on selected plots for people moving up to a larger home.

The village of Lytchett Matravers nestles at the gateway to the Purbeck hills and Dorset heath land, overlooking the waters of Poole Harbour - the second largest natural harbour in the world. The A350 and A351 offer easy access to Wimborne Minster, Wareham and the seaside towns of Poole and Bournemouth. The local coastline includes such famous landmarks as Lulworth Cove and Brownsea Island.
