Huge success for Exeter apartments

22nd May 2009 Print
Huge success for Exeter apartments Since the beginning of February 2009, Knight Frank has sold over 30 apartments at the prestigious Land Securities’ scheme of Princesshay in the centre of Exeter.

Last week Knight Frank reserved the last one bedroom apartment. There has been such a broad amount of interest, ranging from first time buyers to people downsizing from their large houses on the outskirts of Exeter for the convenience of a City Centre apartment.

Now, with only eighteen two bedroom apartments remaining and with prices starting at £242,000 the demand continues to be strong.

Miles Kevin from Knight Frank commented: “We have been amazed at the demand for these apartments since the beginning of the year and it really shows that the buying public consider the property market to have fallen to its lowest level. Buying in the centre of such a vibrant city gives them the best location around and we have seen a great deal of individual investors buying these apartments to let to the many professionals residing in Exeter.

“With the sales rates averaging about two per week at the present time, it will not be long before the opportunity to purchase a new apartment on this exciting development will be over.

“The majority of two bedroom apartments remaining have stunning views over Exeter City Centre and Dartmoor, with some of the apartments looking directly upon Exeter Cathedral. These would make fantastic homes for the purchaser who wishes to simplify their life and move from the large family home with its responsibilities and gardening to a modern practically maintenance free home, with all the amenities they could need right there on their doorstep.”
