Make it easy on yourself with Redrow

Make it easy on yourself with Redrow Don't let the excitement of buying a new home be spoilt by worries about letting go of your existing property - award winning Redrow can help you with both. At developments in Glenboig, Lanark and Dunfermline, a new initiative will help customers find a buyer for their old home through an estate agent, but guarantee to take it in part-exchange if it remains unsold when their brand new home is ready.

Called ‘Easi-move', the assured sale scheme is available on selected plots at Garncroft Wynd, in Glenboig, Heather Lea, in Lanark, and Middlebank Rise, at Dunfermline.

Diana Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (Scotland), says: "Easi-move is perfect for customers hoping to move next spring or early summer. We'll appoint an estate agent to take care of their dependent sale, manage the process and pay the agent's fees at the end of the day. However, we'll also agree a part-exchange valuation at the outset and guarantee to take the property off their hands if it hasn't been sold when they're due to take possession of their new Redrow home.

"It's a win-win situation for the customer, who can work with the agent to achieve the best possible price for their property - safe in the knowledge that they have a fall-back position of part exchange."

‘Easi-move' is just one of a number of new initiatives from Redrow for 2009, coupled with a brand new specification that will see an uplift in the quality of kitchens, bathrooms and other fixtures and fittings throughout the home.

Diana Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (Scotland), says: "At a time when other housebuilders may be looking towards cutting costs, Redrow has invested a huge amount of time, money and effort to make our interiors stand out from the competition.

"Our new kitchens will feature on-trend floor to ceiling banks of units with integrated appliances; bathroom suites are sleek and contemporary and we have other desirable features such as extra wide bi-fold patio doors which open up fully to bring the outside in."

Redrow's Garncroft Wynd venture currently offers a mix of three and four-bedroom detached family homes with prices from £174,995 to £217,500. The Glenboig location offers easy access to the M8, M73 and M74 motorways and trains from nearby Gartcosh run regularly to Glasgow.

Heather Lea, in Lanark, enjoys a semi-rural location on the edge of the town with views across the surrounding countryside. Current availability includes three, four and five-bedroom detached homes from £185,995 to £320,000.

Situated off Aberdour Road in Dunfermline's popular Eastern Expansion Area, Middlebank Rise features a mix of three, four and five-bedroom homes with current prices from £169,995 to £359,000. As well as being a short drive from Dunfermline town centre, it's also within easy reach of the Fife countryside and coastal areas, while Dunfermline and Inverkeithing railway stations offers access to Edinburgh city centre within 15 minutes.
