Celebrate Mother’s Day at Le Méridien Al Aqah

Treat your mother to dinner at Le Méridien Al Aqah, with delicious dining options from around the globe.

All mothers staying at the resort during UK Mother’s Day, which is celebrated on March 14, will dine on 50% off on any meals at Views Restaurant when accompanied by their kids.

During March, Sapore Italian restaurant will take a culinary journey to the Emilia-Romagna region with dishes from culinary heroes, including Ferrara’s Cristoforo di Messisbugo, who chronicled the lavish menus of Renaissance courts, and Parma's Duchess Marie Louise (Napoleon’s wife); whose tastes inspired generations of dishes. With entrées priced from AED 48, mains priced from AED 85, and desserts priced from AED 38 you can enjoy the golden era at Sapore on a shoe-string budget. Sapore is open daily for lunch from 12pm to 3:30pm for dinner from 7pm to 10:30pm.

Indian restaurant Swaad will offer a selection of dosas - crispy savory pancakes - during March, cooked before your eyes by Chef Sherafat. The dosas are priced from AED 35.

Taste Thai Restaurant will feature Bangkok curries during March. The distinct sweetness of the curries distinguishes them from other nations’ curries. The range of coconut-based curries includes red, yellow, green, and Panaeng. Le Méridien Al Aqah’s Thai Chef de Cuisine, Praiwan Sriplai, creates each curry with a unique taste, featuring key ingredients such as fresh chilies, lemongrass, galangal, garlic, shallots, kaffir lime, cilantro roots, shrimp paste, and fish sauce. The curries are priced affordably from AED 105.

Swaad Restaurant and Taste Thai Restaurant are both open daily for dinner from 7:00pm to 10:30pm.

Views restaurant continues its international evenings throughout March. Starting at 7pm, diners can choose from Festa Italiana on Saturdays, Asian Breeze on Sundays, Tour de France on Mondays, Locavores on Tuesdays, Mexicana on Wednesdays, Taste of Arabia on Thursdays, and Sea View on Fridays – all priced at AED 185 and including a refreshing selection of beverages.

Views restaurant is also offering a value-packed Friday lunch from 12:30pm to 3:30pm, priced at AED 222 including pool and beach access.

Gonu Bar and Grill, on the shores of the resort’s private beach, is open daily offering lunch from 12:00pm to 5:00pm and dinner from 7:00pm to midnight.  The chefs can also create a moonlight dinner under the stars, priced at AED 800 per couple including special beverages.
Also on the idyllic beach-front, the Beach Bar is offering a beach barbecue every Monday-night priced at AED 169 AED with unlimited pouring beverages starting from 08:00pm till 11:00pm.

For private dining, hotel guests can enjoy the convenience of dining in the comfort and privacy of their own rooms through the 24-hour In Room Dining service, which features a range of international cuisines.

Astro’s, the 20th floor bar with a spectacular view of the Hajar Mountains and the Indian Ocean, is an ideal venue for after work-beverages.   Astro’s is open from 7:00pm to 1:00am, from Saturday to Wednesday, and from 7:00pm to 2:00am on Thursdays and Fridays. Happy hour is from 9:00pm to 10:00pm daily.

Tea & Dates, the hotel’s stylish lobby lounge, will have a daily cake special during December. It also features an assortment pastries, fresh croissants, sandwiches, salads, dates, and delectable cakes, complemented by the finest hot and cold beverages, including a signature coffee menu.  It is open daily from 10:00am to 10:00pm and on weekends from 10:00am to 11:00pm.
