Orange has announced the results of a twitter poll which canvassed their followers’ fantasy festival apps of the future. Orange's Twitter profile (@conorfromorange) sent out a call to action on the social networking site encouraging followers to suggest the boldest, wackiest, most useful and relevant mobile applications they would like to use at music festivals.

The response was overwhelming with suggestions ranging from hangover remedies to toilet solutions.

Below is a selection of some of the best:

1. CrApp - @ukmanchesterdan an app that could tell you which of the toilets have just been cleaned

2. Tent finder – @carlmartin best tent location – dependent on weather, proximity to toilets, bars etc, helps find best place for tent

The overall winning app concept was for ‘Augmented reality gigs in your tent’, a service perfect for music lovers who are simply too tired or hungover to get out of their sleeping bags. The app would use augmented reality technology to layer a computer-generated movie of your favourite band over the inside of your tent – giving the impression that they’re right there next to you. Winner @carlmartin received a pair of tickets for the Glastonbury Festival.
