Buy more legroom with Austrian Airlines

5th January 2011 Print

Passengers can now buy more legroom in the long-haul economy class of Austrian Airlines.

When checking in via the web, customers can secure the coveted seats in the emergency exit row for 70 euros per seat, provided the passenger fulfils the requirements for the allocation of seats in the emergency exit row.

Security requires that these seats are allocated only to passengers who are at least 16 years old, have no physical disabilities and do not travel with babies under the age of two or with animals in the cabin. Customers can easily book this increase in personal comfort by using their credit card.

Austrian Airlines has introduced different additional services over the past months which have made travelling more pleasant for their economy class passengers. Passengers can grant themselves access to the Austrian business class lounge in Vienna for 35 euros per person. In the lounge, they can enjoy a wide range of meals and beverages from DO&CO, free WLAN connection, Internet access, national and international newspapers and TV.

In addition, economy class passengers can buy a business class upgrade at short notice – even hours before their flight.

All three offers – the exit row seat, the lounge access and the business class upgrade - are bookable when using the Web-Check-In tool at austrian.com.
