Halfords launches sleeping bag for taller people

Traditionally, campers have been able to fit comfortably into standard sized sleeping bags. But due to better nutrition and healthcare, experts say that the UK population has been steadily growing taller. To cater for the growing camper, Halfords are launching a new XL sleeping bag.

Halfords has added to its extensive range, the Urban Escape XL Envelope Sleeping Bag. It provides extra room at 265cm in length and 95cm in width. This is a total of 41% bigger than standard sleeping bags.

Phil Latham, Halfords Sleeping Bag Tester, said: “For the taller person, it is important to have more room to move around in the sleeping bag. An extra-large sleeping bag will give the extra wiggle-factor needed for a good night’s sleep.”
