Regarded as one of the most eclectic festivals in the world, WOMAD has become even more diverse with the introduction of a Drum n Bass event on Saturday 26 July. A new addition to WOMAD for 2008, this 2,000 capacity marquee will see some of the world’s most influential drum n bass artists take to the decks.

The title track of Ali Campbell’s second solo album ‘Running Free’ is an original duet with the UK soul queen Beverley Knight. The second single to be taken from the top 10 album sees the two West Midlanders on fine fettle with their vocals working superbly well together.

Kerry Ellis, currently starring as Elphaba in the smash hit musical WICKED at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre, is to recreate her award-winning performance on Broadway. Harriet Thorpe is to star as ‘Madame Morrible’ in the smash hit musical WICKED at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre from Monday 14 April 2008.

On Friday 7th of March, The Clissold Arms in Muswell Hill will open its doors again to the public following a major refurbishment under new ownership.
