The GT1 class in the Mid-Ohio Acura Sports Car Challenge witnessed the sixth 2007 American Le Mans Series (ALMS) victory in seven races for Oliver Gavin and Olivier Beretta.

While millions of Americans enjoyed an extended Fourth of July holiday weekend, Corvette Racing secured their latest 1-2 victory in the American Le Mans Series at the 1.54-mile Lime Rock Park circuit in Connecticut on July 7.

Fresh from the gruelling endurance challenge of last weekend’s 24 Hours of Le Mans race, Corvette Racing driver Oliver Gavin will be appearing at the Classic Corvette Club UK’s (CCCUK) Summer Nationals event in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire on June 23 and 24.

A host of vehicles from the famous American car brands Cadillac and Corvette will be appearing at this year’s Motorexpo, which runs from June 11 to 17 at London’s Canary Wharf.

The Corvette Z06 ‘Ron Fellows edition’ has been introduced to mark the contribution of the Canadian racer to the success of the Corvette racing programme and is available in strictly limited numbers in the UK.

To celebrate the success of Corvette in sports car racing, and in particular the prestigious Le Mans 24-Hour event, a limited run of just 250 ‘Victory Edition’ Corvette Coupes is being produced. Since Corvette Racing made its debut in 1999, the team has won more than 50 races, including five class wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans between 2001 and 2006. The Corvette Victory Edition is priced at £51,285.

Sebring International Raceway witnessed an exemplary performance by Corvette Racing on March 17 as America's premier production sports car team scored its fifth GT1 class win in six years in Florida’s classic endurance race, the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring.

For the fourth consecutive year, Team Cadillac was on the podium in the season-opening round of the SCCA SPEED World Challenge GT series at Sebring International Raceway, Florida, on March 16. After three consecutive second-place finishes by Andy Pilgrim, this year it was Lawson Aschenbach who claimed runner-up honours in his first race with Team Cadillac.

Cadillac reinforced its commitment to grow its brand in Europe by announcing it will add the BLS Wagon to its portfolio later this year.
