The British leg of the marathon relay celebrating Ferrari’s 60th Anniversary starts in Belfast today at the beginning of a four day adventure which will see a fleet of V12 Ferraris visit official Ferrari dealers in the UK.

Ferrari has created a special version of the flagship V12 four-seater 612 Scaglietti liveried in police colours to be used when Ferrari’s 60th Anniversary relay starts the UK leg on 18th April.

As part of Ferrari GB’s ongoing aim to provide industry-leading customer service in all areas of the business, an Aftersales CSI telephone survey was conducted on service and repair work carried out in the Ferrari GB Dealer Network during the months of November 2006 and January 2007.

Ferrari will be represented at the Techno-Classica 2007 by a stand dedicated entirely to Ferrari Classiche, a specialist division set up in Maranello to provide owners of historic Prancing Horse cars with restoration, maintenance, and assistance services. The Ferrari Classiche division also issues Authenticity Certificates.

Saturday 24 March: The Ferrari Challenge Dealer Team GB completed a successful start to the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli season with an excellent display in Qualifying and Race 1.

Following an outstanding first season, with two wins, five poles and several podium finishes in 2006, the Ferrari Challenge Dealer Team GB enters its second full year of competition with an even larger stable of “Cavallino Rampante” thoroughbred race cars which head to Monza, “The Temple of Speed”, for the first of 14 races in the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli European Championship.

After a series of exhibitions throughout the Ferrari Dealer Network in the UK, the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti which was designed by the award-winning Wallpaper* magazine on behalf of a Ferrari collector and shown at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the exclusive Salon Privé in July 2006 has been delivered to its owner, Mr Paul Hill, by Ferrari’s Charles Hurst dealership in Belfast.

Ferrari is displaying both sides of its character to harmonious and complementary effect at this year’s Geneva Auto Show. Its thoroughbred sporty side is represented by the F430 and the F430 Spider, developed using the F1 technology, while two 612 Scagliettis represent its technologically advanced GT side.
