MINI UK is responding to a huge surge in interest for its 100 per cent approved used cars with a complete redevelopment of its MINI Cherished website. From 01 April 2008, UK customers will be able to locate their perfect used MINI faster and even more easily at minicherished.co.uk

The new MINI Cooper S Clubman made its official used car market debut in a special sale staged at BCA Nottingham. Buyers representing 54 BMW dealerships attended the event, with a further 24 dealers bidding over the internet via BCA Live Online.

Fleet News has become the latest media outlet to nominate MINI as a green winner. In the publication’s 20th Annual Awards ceremony, MINI was named Best Small Car 2008 thanks to the introduction of new fuel-saving technologies and amazingly strong residual values.

The January blues have been well and truly beaten by MINI in 2008 with new year awards from Top Gear, What Car?, BusinessCar and Parker’s Car Guides. With successes in these publications that cover retail and fleet, new and used car sales, the champagne is off the ice and the detox will have to wait!

Next year, an all-new MINI Challenge will race at some of the UK’s biggest international race meetings including A1GP, DTM and the WTCC, on some of Europe’s most challenging race circuits, in a bespoke sixteen-race championship.

MINI Clubman has been on sale for less than a month and is proving a huge hit with the British public, contributing to a record November total of 4,104 new MINI registrations.

The new MINI Clubman will go on sale in the UK on Saturday 10 November 2007. Based on a concept first shown at Frankfurt Motor Show in 2005, the new car is a modern interpretation of its famous Mini predecessors taking into account all the demands and technologies of the 21st century.

MINI UK has achieved a record sales month; the highest since MINI went on sale in July 2001. 150 UK dealers sold 8,764 models in September 2007.

MINI has taken a green P1 in the Autocar 2007 Green Grand Prix with its combination of great economy, low carbon dioxide emissions and renowned fun-factor.
