Truck and trailer rental specialists, Hill Hire plc., has taken delivery of a number of new Renault trucks to meet increasing demand from its customers. In an important conquest deal, the vehicles were supplied by Renault Trucks distributor, JDS Trucks.


Matthew Kibble Transport Ltd., has taken delivery of four new Euro 4 Renault Premiums: three 18 tonne 4x2 Renault Premium curtainsiders and a 7.5 tonne Premium curtainsider, through Renault Trucks distributor, JDS Trucks.


The Benton Bros. Group has taken delivery of two new Renault Premium 450s, with another three to come in September, through Renault Trucks Distributor, Thompson Commercials.


Specialist Waste Recycling Ltd. (SWR) has taken delivery of two Renault Midlum 240.18s, a Renault Midlum 280.18 and a Renault Premium 240.18, through Renault Trucks distributor MV Trucks.


Specialist hire company, Mr. Plant Hire, has taken delivery of a new Renault Premium 370.26, with Optidriver+ gearbox, through Renault Trucks Essex.


Cold store and cold room flooring specialists, GE Scothorne & Sons (Contracts) Ltd., has taken delivery of a new 4x2 Renault Magnum 460.18, through Renault Trucks distributor JDS Trucks Leeds.

For the first time, in February, Renault Trucks’ plants crossed the symbolic threshold of producing 300 vehicles in a single day.


Lincolnshire based linen and laundry company, Bourne Textile Services, has taken delivery of two new Renault Premium Distribution 240.18s, through recently appointed Renault Trucks distributor, The Welch Group.


Leading commercial vehicle fleet services provider, Fraikin, is taking delivery of 30 new Euro-5 Renault Premium Privilege trucks, through Renault Trucks Midlands.


The leading oil distribution company, CPL Petroleum Ltd., has taken delivery of 22 new Euro 4 Renault Premiums, the first ever Renaults to be bought by the company.

Ferrari Dealership, Graypaul Nottingham, has taken delivery of a new Renault Midlum 190.08 through Renault Trucks distributor, RH Commercial Vehicles. The truck, which is fitted with a David Bland Engineering sliding curtain body, will be used for the collection and delivery of new Ferraris and other prestigious cars within the UK.


Coulter Truck and Van, the Northern Ireland based Renault Trucks distributor, has expanded its operation onto the UK mainland, with the opening of a new dealership at the Haydock Cross Industrial Estate, St Helens, Lancashire.


Nottingham based Brough Haulage has taken delivery of three new Euro 4 Renault Magnum 460.25s through Renault Trucks distributor, RH Commercial Vehicles. The trucks will be used with tri-axle low loader trailers for the specialist transport of access scissor lifts and plant for customers such as Hewdens, Hi-Reach, Nationwide, Loxam and Access Rentals.


Future Environmental Services has chosen the Renault Kerax chassis as the base for two new BIG BITE XPR tankers, supplied by MiT (Milner Industrial Transport Ltd). The new BIG BITE XPR, 3000 gallon recycling jet vac combination tankers have been fitted to the 6x4 Renault Kerax 410.26 chassis, supplied by Renault Trucks distributor, Staffordshire CV.


Textile recycling company, Choice Textile Ltd., has taken delivery of six Renault Midlum 220.10s, through the Renault Trucks Choice used vehicles programme. The vehicles, supplied through Renault Trucks London, are to replace the company’s existing Euro 2 Ivecos, as the company updates its fleet to Euro 3 Renault Midlums.


The AA’s breakdown service is adding 56 new Euro 4 Renault Midlums to its 300-strong fleet, through Renault Trucks South. The new vehicles, consisting of 42 Renault Midlum 190.10s and 14 Renault Midlum 220.12s, all have crew cabs and all will be on the road before the end of October.


Leading distribution and storage company, Downton, has taken delivery of three Euro 4 Renault Premium 450 6x2 trucks, with the Optidriver+ gearbox, following fuel trials against DAF and Volvo. The new trucks will be used on the company’s contract with UK pet store chain, Pets at Home.


Business relocation specialist, Business Moves Group, has expanded its 35 strong fleet with a varied mix of new Euro 4 Renault Trucks from across the range, through Renault Trucks distributor, Renault Trucks South.


Essex based, Transporter Engineering has taken delivery of 10 new Euro 4 Renault Premium 450.19 4x2 tractor units, through Renault Trucks London. A further 75 Euro 5 models are on order for delivery over a one year period to meet customer demand.


Transport users in the market for a 3.5 tonnes gvw truck – now the heaviest that can be driven by new car driving licence holders – now have a choice of three utterly different models from their Renault Trucks dealer.
