Swinton Specialist launches revamped website

10th June 2008 Print
Leading performance car insurance broker Swinton Specialist has revamped its website and it’s live online right now at swintonspecialist.co.uk.

The relaunch marks the official debut of this new dedicated web address, giving the brand a distinct and unique identity away from established parent company Swinton Insurance.

Sharper and smarter than before, Swinton Specialist’s internet presence has been given an edgy new look. Its key function is to inform customers of Swinton Specialist’s range of bespoke insurance policies for performance, imported and modified cars.

But there’s also a host of new features, including details of Swinton Specialist’s popular policy add-ons. These include breakdown cover from £39, legal protection from £25 and accident cover from £4.98 per month.

The website also includes access to Revving, Swinton Specialist’s exclusive monthly e-newsletter. It features competitions – such as the current ‘Win-an-Evo’ prize draw – plus motoring articles and auto show reports from leading car journalist Richard Yarrow.

Simon Hoe is Swinton Specialist’s online marketing manager, and explained how the website had been in development for many months. “We’ve worked really hard to get the style and content right. Our customers are a mix of enthusiasts and experts, and we believe they deserve to be treated that way. Our new-look website does that, while giving them access to the cheapest insurance for performance, imported and modified cars.”

He said the Swinton Specialist team had a wealth of experience in understanding the unique nature of this type of cover. “We’re Specialist by name and Specialist by nature. A lot of our staff are enthusiasts too; they modify their own vehicles, they go to the shows, they read the mags and websites, they blog. If you tell us you’ve got a specific ECU remap or a Stage One conversion, they’ll know what you’re talking about. We believe our revamped website reflects our passion.”
