Gwen Stefani on show in NYC
9 September 2005
Gwen Stefani has spent an amazing 1 million dollars on her first fashion show for clothing line L.A.M.B., during New York Fashion Week.
The 35 year old singer is making a bid to steal the limelight from other top designers such as Donna Karen, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein, who are also showing Spring/Summer 2006 collections this week.
L.A.M.B. has grossed 10.8 million pounds in sales for Gwen, since the launch of the brand three years ago.
The label primarily comprises “leisurewear” separates, footwear and accessories, aimed at the higher end of the fashion market.
