Christmas in the New Forest

Many people like the idea of going away from Christmas but assume that the prices will be through the roof; not so at Little Paddock in the New Forest where a three-night break over Christmas costs from just £46 per person per night.

The complex is comprised of nine Scandinavia-style wooden lodges, each of which has been designed for just two people with the emphasis firmly on romance (Little Paddock is also ‘adult-only’).

The lodges are owned and run by husband and wife team Brett and Sue Jones who make every effort to ensure guests have a fabulous stay and come back for more!

The lodges are fully-equipped for self-catering but for those who are going away to avoid the chores, the New Forest’s wide choice of restaurants and cosy pubs are all within easy reach.

On Christmas morning, the Jones’s will be hosting a Buck’s Fizz and mulled wine reception with a seasonal mince pie or two, providing the chance for people to wish their fellow guests ‘season’s greetings’.

Little Paddock is ideally situated for romantic winter walks in the New Forest or Avon Heath Country Park direct from the back gate (negating the need for a car).

The complex (which allows well behaved dogs to stay in one lodge) also has 2 communal hot tubs and a tennis court.

In addition to the popular towns of the New Forest including Lymington, Brockenhurst and Beaulieu, Little Paddock is also ideally placed for exploring a little further afield, for example Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and Salisbury.
