The Hummingbird Bakery prepares for Easter
As spring approaches, The Hummingbird Bakery is preparing for Easter, the chocolatiest festival of them all.
From 18th April to 25th April (Easter Monday) 2011, the bakery will be serving up a limited edition range of cakes, delightfully decorated with spring flowers and handmade nests filled with chocolate eggs. A selection of Easter-themed chocolate and vanilla cupcakes will be available for in-store purchase in all three of The Hummingbird Bakery’s London-based outlets. In addition, Easter Mini Delights cupcakes and hand decorated Easter chocolate layer cakes will be available by online pre-order via The Hummingbird Bakery website at hummingbirdbakery.com. Pre-orders can be placed from 1st April 2011.
Easter Chocolate Cake
Three layers of chocolate sponge frosted with chocolate buttercream and decorated with a handmade nest filled with chocolate mini eggs and a ‘Happy Easter’ handwritten message. The six-inch Easter Chocolate Cake is the perfect festive treat to share with family and friends. Priced at £30 each, available by pre-order only.
Easter Hand Decorated Cupcakes
Hand-decorated vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, finished with mini eggs and spring flowers. These Easter inspired variations of two of The Hummingbird Bakery’s most popular cupcake flavours are ideal as festive gifts or for a bit of personal indulgence. Priced at £2.95 each and available for in-store purchase. Orders of 12 or more available by pre-order only.
Easter Mini Delights
Hand-decorated vanilla and chocolate mini cupcakes, finished with mini eggs and spring flowers. These delightfully small but perfectly formed cupcakes make great little treats for kids and adults alike. Priced at £24 for a box of 12, available by pre-order only.
The Hummingbird Bakery, which first opened in 2004, specialises in American-inspired sweet baked goods. Everything the bakery produces, from cupcakes and whoopie pies, to layer cakes and bespoke celebration cakes, is made using the finest quality ingredients and is baked and individually decorated by hand.
