Three-times British Grand Prix winner, Nigel Mansell rolled back the years on Friday at Silverstone Circuit when he put on a dramatic display within the BMW Sauber F1 Team Pit Lane Park in the BMW Sauber F1 Team car.


BMW 1 Series Coupe BMW is extending the 1 Series line-up in the UK with a new model consisting of a brace of high performance twin-turbocharged engines and a diesel capable of a frugal 58.9mpg.


Three-times British Grand Prix winner, Nigel Mansell, is planning to climb behind the wheel of a modern Formula One car for the first time at Silverstone Circuit next Friday (July 6), when he pilots the 700bhp BMW Sauber F1 Team car within the state-of-the-art surrounds of the BMW Sauber F1 Team Pit Lane Park.


BMW 6 Series Coupe BMW has announced the launch of a new engine to the BMW 6 Series range at the same time as the model line-up has been revised. The BMW 635d opens up a new sector of the market for BMW by mating the acclaimed twin-turbocharged diesel to the marque’s flagship Grand Tourer.


BMW’s best selling 5 Series gets a new engine in September that showcases increased power output while economy and emissions figures both improve at the same time. The new four-cylinder single-turbocharged powerplant has an output of 177hp, up from 163hp compared to the previous 520d.


The most popular model in the BMW X3 range is to receive a boost following the introduction of a revised engine with EfficientDynamics technology. The new BMW X3 2.0d comes with a 1,995cc engine offering 177hp, up 27hp compared to the previous model, and 350Nm of torque, up 20Nm.


A new BMW X5 3.0d goes on sale in October with a revised powerplant for lower emissions and improved economy. The new X5 is now the only conventionally-powered vehicle in its segment with a CO2 emissions figure that falls below the highest 225g/km banding for Vehicle Excise Duty.

BMW X5 3.0sd M Sport specification available across the range BMW’s class-leading Sports Activity Vehicle is now available with the world’s most powerful production six-cylinder diesel powerplant. The award-winning twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre diesel engine has been brought to the BMW X5 range to cater for a growing demand for performance SAVs.


BMW’s biggest selling model range will now come equipped with a raft of EfficientDynamics fuel saving and emissions cutting measures in a move that also harmonises engine line-up across all 3 Series body styles.
