A BMW 732i originally bought new from a dealership in High Wycombe, Bucks in 1982 by the late author Roald Dahl, is being offered at auction by Historics at Brooklands on September 25th, with 20% of the profits generated going to Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity.
BMW’s 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged diesel engine is now available in the marque’s flagship model range.
BMW UK’s flagship 7 Series range is to be offered with its most powerful diesel engine ever in the 740d model, at the same time as the popular 730d comes with a revised powerplant offering improved fuel economy and emissions figures.

The BMW 760Li will be powered by an all new 5,972cc twin-turbocharged V12 engine and be the first BMW production car to feature the marque’s new eight-speed automatic transmission, offering outstanding levels of performance and refinement in the premium segment.
