On sale today (22 April) are the majority of Thomsonfly’s low fare flights for winter 2008/09, which commence flying from 1st November. Prices start from as low as £24.99 one-way for routes to Salzburg and Geneva, to Malaga and Alicante from £29.99 and to the Canary Islands from £54.99.

Thomsonfly .com is warning passengers of major roadworks taking place on the A338 (Spur Road) - starting on 17th February and lasting for six weeks. Passengers are advised to expect significant delays for the duration of these works, particularly at peak times and are strongly advised to leave additional travel time to get to/from Bournemouth Airport.

On 6 December 2006, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Gordon Brown, announced that Air Passenger Duty (APD) would increase on all flights originating from the UK from 1 February 2007. This tax is not contributing to environmental causes and was imposed arbitrarily, without consultation with the airline industry, and is mandatory.


In light of the recent announcement that CT2 has gone into administration, Thomsonfly has added extra flights over the Christmas and New Year period from Manchester to Tenerife South departing Manchester at 16.05 on both 27th December 2006 and 3rd January 2007. Thomsonfly's flights to Tenerife start from £39.99, travel by 31st January 2007.


Thomsonfly has announced that it will become the first airline to offer low fare flights between Cardiff and Barcelona.
