TAP named largest service provider in Portugal
According to analysis run by the Forum Empresarial magazine published this week, TAP is currently the largest Portuguese service provider. This classification is based on its turnover and the increase in revenue observed in 2007 that has contributed decisively to TAP attaining this distinguished position. In 2006 the national airline transporter ranked in third place.
TAP and TV Globo begin partnership for in-flight content
From the start of June TAP passengers flying between Portugal and Brazil can now watch TV Globo International programming during flights. The two companies have set up a partnership that includes the series “1808 – The Court in Brazil”, a program distributed by TV Globo International to be shown between June and December.

TAP has inaugurated its new Premium Space (Premium Customer Centre), an innovative multifaceted structure where Classe Executiva (Business Class) customers or Victoria Program gold card holders and TAP Corporate card holders are now attended to in an exclusive zone within Lisbon airport.
Accor Hospitality & TAP set up global partnership
Accor Hospitality and TAP have celebrated a partnership that enables the 750 thousand TAP Victoria Program members to earn air miles each time they stay at one of more than 1500 hotels in more than one hundred different countries. This agreement includes the Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel and Mercure hotel networks.

For the fifth consecutive year TAP has been awarded the prize as “Best Airline Company” by the Publituris newspaper once again receiving the majority vote of the readers of this prestigious publication.
Tap launches third weekly flight to Bissau
From July 2nd, TAP begins operating its third weekly flight between Lisbon and Bissau. This new flight will run every Wednesday adding to the flights the Company already runs on Fridays and Sundays.

TAP launches new in-flight cell phone service
TAP has launched its first commercial test of in-flight cell phone use. This system offered by OnAir – a company specializing in SITA and Airbus mobile communications – enables TAP passengers to make or receive voice calls, send text and e-mail messages using their own cell phones.
TAP reorganises operations for coming winter
TAP is to reorganize its operations from October by suspending the number of flights on some routes with more reduced occupancy levels as well as an integrated emergency plan designed to face increased fuel prices.
New TAP A330 aircraft begins operations
The new A330-220 aircraft in the TAP fleet delivered by Airbus took its first return commercial flight this month in company service between Lisbon and Salvador, Bahia. With a capacity of 268 passengers the new aircraft joins the fleet of eleven A330-200 currently in service at TAP.
New Star Alliance lounge at Heathrow Terminal 1
Star Alliance customers departing from Terminal 1 at London Heathrow Airport can now use the Alliance’s largest lounge. This space is available to all first and business class passengers, guest passengers and also bearers of Star Alliance Gold cards traveling with any member-company from Terminal 1 at that airport.
TAP flies to Casablanca from October
TAP is to begin flights to Morocco from October 27 2008 with the offer of six flights a week. Flights between Lisbon and Casablanca will run every day except on Sundays.
TAP renews loyalty program for companies
The TAP loyalty program for companies has been updated to offer its customers even more advantages. This program developed for the Portuguese market recognizes companies that prefer the Company allocating them more points the more they fly with TAP.

UP wins “Papier” Awards
TAP’s in-flight magazine UP has just picked up the Papier 2008 awards “Best Portuguese Magazine” with its first edition and “Best Commercial Product Printed on a Rolling Press in Portugal”, with edition No.4. This is an initiative by Revista do Papel voted by representatives from the printing press industry in Portugal.
