Abbey passes on full 0.25 per cent cut to its customers on SVR
Abbey has announced that it will cut its standard variable rate on mortgages by 0.25 per cent following the Bank of England’s base rate cut today.From 1 March 2008, Abbey’s standard variable rate will be 7.34 per cent.
The decrease for existing borrowers will come into effect at the same time as any change in savings rates on 1st March 2008.
