The Audio Pro LV2e is a beautifully simple wireless audio system that offers superior Wi-Fi functionality and exceptional sound from a compact design that's easy to placeanywhere in the home. Available in white, black or red leather, it comprises a pair of active monitors with built-in Wi-Fi receivers, supplied with an easy-to-install multisource transmitter.
The LV2e system is so easy to use: connect the speakers to power, connect the transmitter to a computer (or other audio source) and play high quality music. It's as simple as that - no software download or finicky configuration is necessary.
Designed for single or multi-room use, the LV2e system uses a dedicated, protected protocol which allows transmission in full CD quality and makes it possible to preserve uncompressed formats such as FLAC, Apple Lossless etc. The system's universality and easy application will, almost instantly, transform any computer, TV, hi-fi, or dock into a Wi-Fi source, with a range of up to 20m interroom and up to 50m in the same space. Family members can turn their audio entertainment wireless in seconds. Play any player/library directly from a laptop (PC or Mac); WiFi enable any device with a sound output. Using multiple LV2es, share music from three different sound sources with three distinct volume 'zones' in the home.
Built into each LV2e speaker is a wireless receiver and twin discrete 25W Class D amplifiers driving a 25mm soft dome tweeter and 115mm aluminium woofer. Audio Pro has fine-tuned the DSP filters and crossovers to optimise audio performance for excellent size-belying sound quality. The system is supplied with a remote handset controlling power, mute, master volume and zone volume. A display on the front of each speaker shows volume, house code and zone; at the back there are zone and house code selectors and a power switch. The LV2e speaker can operate in two modes: 'full-range' or 'satellite'. When used in satellite mode with a matching LV-SUB, the system can play 10dB higher!
The Audio Pro network uses a dedicated, protected protocol in 2.4GHz band. Inside the TX100 transmitter supplied with the LV2e is a high quality sample rate converter built into the same silicon as the USB audio controller for more accurate clocking and reduced jitter. A high performance A-D converter resides on separate chip. The RX100 receiver (built into the LV2e speaker) uses a specialised Burr-Brown DAC. Bandwidth is 1.6Mb per house code channel and all audio is run at 48 kHz. Reception is protected by an integrated diversity antenna (two switching antennas) and a similarly seamless "sniffer" system, which automatically jumps between free RF channels avoiding potential interference. Music is transmitted in real time (20ms buffer not 2seconds).
Connect to the transmitter either directly from a computer's USB port or from a music system, dock or TV via 3.5 mm stereo or RCA phono cable.
