BubbleBum, the world’s first inflatable car booster seat continues to gain stockists and will shortly be available in selected ASDA and Heatons stores.
BubbleBum is being rolled out to 203 ASDA stores, including Stevenage, Coventry and Derby branches from the 22nd March, and it will also be available to purchase online with Britain’s largest supermarket. The product is also available to buy from additional Heatons stores thanks to launch success. Established more than 65 years ago, the highly esteemed group of department stores is one of Ireland’s largest, and will be stocking BubbleBum in 16 major stores. Furthermore, the booster seat will be rolled out in leading automotive and leisure retailer Halfords from early May. It is already available to buy from Halfords online shop, and has enjoyed some great successes.
Launched in December 2009, BubbleBum has rocketed to success, winning major worldwide awards in various sectors; from safety and business, to commercial and parenting. The product exports to 24 countries globally and is already stocked by major retailers and e-tailers such as Amazon, Toys R Us, Kiddicare, Halfords online, as well as airlines such as BMI and Emirates.
CEO of BubbleBum, Grainne Kelly, said: “This expansion into large and established UK stores marks a significant and continued development for BubbleBum, and we are confident that 2012 will be our greatest year yet. We are committed to raising awareness amongst parents and carers about child safety in cars, by drawing attention to the laws that are already in place to promote booster seat use.”
In the UK, all children under the age of 12 and shorter than 135cm must travel with a child seat or a booster seat to help avoid serious injury in the event of a traffic collision.
BubbleBum complies with all health and safety regulations, having been approved under the United Nations ECE Regulation R44/04 for safety for both Groups 2 and 3. It is designed for use with a standard 3 point adult seatbelt that has been approved to ECE Regulation 16 or equivalent.
