Local residents are invited to contribute to plans for new homes at a former office campus at Queens Park Road, Handbridge.

Developer Redrow Homes is holding a “view and comment” event at Queens Park High School on Wednesday 18th April for local people to have their say on the proposed development of former office campus at Queens Park Road, Handbridge, into a luxury new homes scheme.

Victoria Murray, head of land and planning for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “We are seeking the views of the local community to help us shape our plans for this excellent location. We would very much value their feedback on what we believe will be an exceptional development of new homes.”

The company has appointed renowned architectural firm ADAM Architecture, well known for their traditional style to design the scheme and members of the public will also be able to review initial design concepts produced.

Redrow’s credentials for a scheme of this nature are strong, having previously created a number of high-end new homes developments across the UK.

The community consultation event takes place on April 18 at Queens Park High School from 4pm to 8pm. Following the event Redrow will look to bring forward a formal planning application in summer 2012.
