Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey is investing £165,000 in community facilities as part of its Terracotta Gardens development of new homes in Leicestershire.

Terracotta Gardens is a superb selection of 62 properties for sale in Leicestershire, including two, three, four and five-bedroom homes.

A choice of 19 affordable homes at the development will give local residents the opportunity to purchase a brand new property in Leicestershire.

The contribution from Taylor Wimpey includes £71,000 for local healthcare provision, plus £32,800 to subsidise bus passes for residents, £29,000 to improve cycling facilities in the area and £20,000 for local highway improvements.

Dominic Harman, Managing Director for Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, says: “This investment in Hathern reflects our belief that building new houses in Leicestershire is about more than just providing high-quality properties for people to live in – it is about giving homebuyers the chance to be part of a thriving community.

“Our £165,000 contribution will benefit local people – young and old – as well as new homeowners at Terracotta Gardens in ways which will be felt for years to come. This is part of Taylor Wimpey’s commitment to the future of the communities we build.”

The new homes for sale in Leicestershire at Terracotta Gardens are designed to blend in with Hathern’s existing residential area, with selected plots reflecting the distinctive period character of the village’s terracotta industry heritage.

The new Sales Centre and showhome, located off Shepshed Road, Hathern, Leicestershire, is open from 10.30am to 5.30pm, Thursday to Monday. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
