House-hunters in Derbyshire have flocked to Peveril Homes’ Appletree Meadow development, in Etwall, since it launched – recognising the desirable opportunity of owning a quality home in a village location. The demand for these properties means that there are now only three two-bedroom homes remaining, so interested parties are advised to act fast, to avoid disappointment.

The Blenheim is a semi-detached home, available from only £145,950. Visitors to the development have a chance to view the property. Here, they will find a convenient cloakroom and a spacious open-plan kitchen, living and dining room, on the ground floor. Upstairs is the family bathroom, along with two well-proportioned bedrooms.

This property is ideal for first-time buyers, and, as Peveril likes to make buying one of its homes as affordable as possible, it is offering FirstBuy*, the government-aided shared-equity scheme, at the development. With this incentive, purchasers can own 100 per cent of a brand-new home, for just 80 per cent of the asking price. This means that house-hunters could purchase the Blenheim for just £116,760.

Angela Thomas, sales and marketing manager at Peveril Homes, said: “I am not surprised that there are only three homes remaining at Appletree Meadow, because, since we launched, we have had positive feedback from the house-hunters who have visited the development.

“Two observations, in particular, have been made: the fantastic quality of the build and what a lovely and desirable location Etwall is to purchase a home. So, I’d advise those in the market for a two-bedroom property to pay us a visit as a matter of priority.”

Etwall is an ideal place to live, if you’re hoping to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Situated adjacent to a conservation area, it offers a picturesque setting for residents, yet is also located within a thriving village. It features several useful amenities, including convenience stores, pubs and a restaurant, as well as a new leisure centre, and is in close proximity to excellent travel links, such as the A38 and A50.

For families, you couldn’t find anywhere more perfect, thanks to Etwall’s well-regarded primary and secondary schools, which are within walking distance of Appletree Meadow. Also, as the development is nestled at the end of a quiet road, in a cul-de-sac, it’s a safe haven for children.

To find out more about the final few homes in Etwall, visit the development, open Thursday–Monday, 11am–5pm. Alternatively, visit peverilhomes.co.uk.
