Early success for popular new homes development

A brand new Liverpool development has got off to a flying start selling 10 homes in the first six weeks since it launched.
The popularity of Mill Brook, in Netherley, has surpassed even the expectations of its developer, Compendium Living.
Two homes were sold at the show home launch, when Compendium hosted a family fun day with face painting, competitions and raffle prizes. Daisy and Taylor Joseph (pictured), both aged nine, from Aigburth, won a large hamper complete with chocolate bunnies. Raffle runner up James Hamill, who has purchased one of the new homes, also took away a hamper.
Field sales manager Anne-Marie O’Doherty said: “The show home opening was a great success and we had lots of visitors who enjoyed a fun-filled day at the development. We’ve been blown away by the number of sales and the level of interest we’ve already seen at Mill Brook. We knew it was going to be popular, but we’ve clearly struck just the right balance with the quality of homes and location.”
Wendy Lister, regeneration officer for Compendium Living, added: “Mill Brook has been phenomenally successful in the first few weeks. People have been so impressed by the plans for the location that we were even taking reservations before the show homes had opened. Since then it’s become even more popular and we’d urge anyone in the market for a new home to come and see what we have on offer.”
Attracting even more people to the development, Compendium is able to offer an extensive range of tailored incentives to assist purchasers:
The Government-backed FirstBuy scheme could save buyers up to 20% off the initial price of a new home. This means a two-bedroom semi-detached house can be snapped up initially for just £83,996 (full price £104,995) and a deposit of just £5,250 could be all that’s needed.
Alternatively, if the purchaser needs more time to save for their deposit, the Bank and Build scheme could enable them to reserve a home and continue to save while it’s being built. We’ll then match their deposit with a contribution of up to 5%.
For those who may have received a contribution towards their deposit from their parents or a relative the Give and Gain scheme will reward them with a 5% return on that investment.
If the purchaser has a property to sell, Helping Hands could be a great option as it ensures Compendium takes care of all the selling arrangements on behalf of its customers, including paying the estate agents fees.
Anne Marie added: “Whatever the individual’s needs we can hopefully tailor an incentive to help get them moving.”
Prices for two and three-bedroom homes are from £104,995 to £149,995.
Mill Brook offers residents easy access to Liverpool city centre with regular public transport services. In the immediate locality there are a host of schools, leisure facilities, parks and shops, including Belle Vale Shopping Centre.
The marketing suite, off Wood Lane, is open five days a week, from Thursday to Monday, from 10am to 5pm. For more information, visit compendiumliving.co.uk.
